Malaysia's Trade Performance for July 2010

The Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI), YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed announced that total exports in July 2010 were RM55.43 billion, an increase of 13.5% from July 2009. This was the second highest monthly export value recorded in the first seven months of 2010. Imports expanded by 18.1% to RM48.41 billion resulting in a total trade of RM103.84 billion, an increase of 15.6% from a year ago. A trade surplus of RM7.01 billion was recorded, making it the 153rd consecutive month of trade surplus since November 1997. |

Prestasi Perdagangan Malaysia bagi Julai 2010

Menteri di Kementerian Perdagangan Antarabangsa dan Industri (MITI), YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed mengumumkan jumlah eksport pada Julai 2010 berjumlah RM55.43 bilion mencatatkan kenaikan 13.5% berbanding Julai 2009. Ini merupakan nilai eksport bulanan yang kedua tertinggi dalam tempoh tujuh bulan pertama tahun 2010. Import mengembang 18.1% kepada RM48.41 bilion menghasilkan jumlah perdagangan bernilai RM103.84 bilion, meningkat 15.6% berbanding tahun lalu. Lebihan dagangan sebanyak RM7.01 bilion dicatatkan, menjadikannya lebihan dagangan yang ke-153 bulan berturut-turut sejak November 1997. |

Buyer-Seller Meets in Conjunction with IGEM 2010
|
|
The Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) will be organising the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM 2010). IGEM 2010 aims to provide an essential platform to feature innovative eco-products, green technologies and services. The international green products and services exhibition will be held in Kuala Lumpur from 14 – 17 October 2010.
In conjunction with IGEM 2010, MATRADE will be organising one and half days one-to-one business meetings for IGEM Incoming Buying Mission (IBM) on 15-16 October 2010. This “Buyer-Seller Meets” acts as a “window to the green world” for Malaysian Companies to meet international buyers. IGEM 2010 will be an effective venue for green products and services buyers and sellers to meet and conduct transactions. The main targeted sectors are as follows :
• Energy;
• Water & Waste Management;
• Building;
• Transportation; and
• Eco-Products & Services.
