MONDAY, 16 MARCH 2020, KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) announced today that KLIABC 2020 will be postponed in response to the global health crisis related to COVID-19.

KLIABC 2020, initially planned to take place on 23-25 June 2020 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, is expected to attract more than 200 international and Malaysian aerospace companies. It will now be deferred to 17-19 November 2020 at the same venue. The decision to postpone the event was taken for the best interest of health for both international and local participants.

KLIABC is MATRADE’s signature aerospace trade event, jointly organised by Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA) and Advance Business Events (ABE) of France. It comprises of a one-day high-level conference followed by business-to-business (B2B) meetings planned throughout the remaining two days. Among the prominent international aerospace players expected at KLIABC 2020 are Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, Rolls-Royce, Safran, Spirit Aerosystems, Thales and Daher.
