MATRADE organiza seminarios y talleres para proporcionar a los nuevos exportadores la información más actualizada y completa sobre el fomento del comercio y las oportunidades de negocio en los mercados internacionales. Los temas que se cubren incluyen las oportunidades en mercados específicos y regímenes de comercio, procedimientos para la exportación, el desarrollo de los nombres de marcas, empaquetamiento de los productos, destrezas para el marketing internacional, comercio electrónico y documentación de comercio.
SME’s Export Initiatives
Other than developing overseas markets for Malaysian products and services, MATRADE also implements training programmes to enhance awareness among the local business community about export opportunities as well as to develop their export marketing skills.
Apart from training programmes, business consultations provide advisory services, publishing directories and handbooks as well as dissemination of information through the website and online news.
Enhancing Exporters’ Knowledge
To enhance the exporters’ knowledge on market accessibility, global trade requirements and trade practices, MATRADE organizes export training programmes for Malaysian exporters and would-be exporters. The topics covered includes branding, country briefings, import regulations, international product and environmental standards, trade financing, market updates and market requirements.
While MATRADE organized some programmes on its own, it also collaborated with other parties such as Government agencies, private sectors, financial institutions and foreign embassies to organize seminars and workshops.
