MATRADE provides facilities for companies to showcase their products and services at the Malaysia Export Exhibition Centres (MEEC) in Kuala Lumpur and also at the Malaysia Trade Centres (MTCs) located in Dubai, Johannesburg, Rotterdam and Hong Kong SAR.

Despite the development of a cheaper and convenient display alternative of “Virtual Displays” which can be viewed over the internet, permanent display venues such as the MEEC and MTCs are still relevant in the current business environment. A sizable number of buyers still prefer to view and inspect the physical products before they make their final purchases. The MEEC and MTCs provide a platform for Malaysian exporters, especially SMEs to reach out to international buyers at minimum cost.

The MEEC showcases and promotes Made-in-Malaysia products and services to foreign buyers and incoming trade delegations. Malaysia Export Exhibition Centre (MEEC) in Kuala Lumpur

The Malaysia Export Exhibition Centre or MEEC located at the MATRADE Headquarters is a permanent display centre designed exclusively to promote Made-In-Malaysia products and services to foreign buyers and incoming trade delegations. With exbibition space of 2,514 sqm, MEEC currently accomodates 370 companies showcasing products from 37 sectors and services clusters ranging from food products to wood, rubber and chemical based products.

Malaysia Trade Centre (MTC) in Dubai

MTC Dubai which opened in 2001 is Malaysia's first overseas trade exhibition centre in West Asia. The centre provides Malaysian companies with an opportunity to promote their products and services to UAE and the surrounding region. The 1,500 square-metre exhibition centre is strategically located in the Al-Safeena Building, near the Dubai World Trade Centre and is in the vicinity of the central business district. Its facilities include floor space for a permenant exhibition, special events and individual company promotions, product launches and demonstrations, a resource library that offers information on Malaysian products and services and conference and seminar rooms.

Malaysia Trade Centre (MTC) in Hong Kong SAR

MATRADE Hong Kong SAR opened its Malaysia Trade Centre Hong Kong SAR (MTCHK) at the Ground Floor of the Malaysia Building on 1 May 2006. It is located at the prime area of Wan Chai and it is one of the busiest commercial areas in Hong Kong with many small- and medium-sized companies gathering, various shopping centres and restaurants serving cuisines of different countries. MTCHK serves as the focal point for Hong Kong buyers and international business community based in Hong Kong in sourcing for information on Malaysian companies, products and services.

MTCHK showcases a wide range of ‘Made in Malaysia’ products and services that testifies to Malaysia’s capabilities in producing world class exports. By providing an avenue for the Malaysian companies to showcase their products, it is hoped that it will garner interests for the local or international buyers when they visit the MTCHK. Malaysia Trade Centre (MTC) in Rotterdam, The Netherlands
The MTC in Rotterdam offers Malaysia companies a venue for their marketing operations in Europe. The Centre which is 7 km from the Rotterdam city center and 3.5 km from the Rotterdam airport has facilities that can assist Malaysian companies to market their products and services. Apart from an exhibition hall which is over 500 square meters and office spaces of various sizes, there is also a seminar room which can accommodate a sitting capacity of 70 persons. The seminar room can also be used for product launches and presentations.

The MTC Rotterdam also houses the MATRADE office and the office of the Agriculture Counselor. Malaysia Trade Centre (MTC) in Johannesburg
The MTC in Johannesburg provides an avenue for Malaysia suppliers to display their products and disseminated information about their services to the Southern African business community. MTC Johannesburg is located at the center of the business and financial district of Sandton in a highly visible office complex known as the Commerce Square. It is a convenient location for business visitors as it is close to major hotels and shopping centers. The area of Sandton is approximately 700 square meters.

The Business Centre at MTC Johannesburg is fully equipped with meeting facilities, audio-visual equipments and computer with internet connections. The response from local business visitors to the MTC has been very encouraging with about 60- 80 visitors per month from various sectors

MATRADE Exhibition & Convention Centre (MECC) at Menara MATRADE

MECC has technologically advanced facilities, and is equipped with WiFi connectivity. It is one of the best places in Malaysia for Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) with particular emphasis on Trade-Centric events. With more than 29,000 square metres of exhibition space, MECC offers three Exhibition Halls (Hall A, B & C), Outdoor Exhibition space and Amphitheatre. These Exhibition Halls provide excellent place to organise exhibitions, conventions, product launches and trade shows.
