Government Sector
Monday to Friday - 7.30 am to 4.45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday - close.
The every Saturdays of the month have been declared as public holidays for Government offices.

Private Sector
Monday to Friday - 9.00 am to 5.30 p.m.
Saturday - 9.00 am to 1.00 p.m.
Note: Most private sector firms/companies are closed on Saturdays.

Etiquette
Business appointments should be scheduled in advance. Business suits are appropriate attire for business meetings.

It is proper to address Malaysians by their first names. As in many parts of the world, the handshake is a perfectly appropriate gesture of greeting.
