Sustaining Export Development MATRADE Core Purpose // 131 MALAYSIA EXPORT EXHIBITION CENTRE The Malaysian Export Exhibition Centre (MEEC) is a permanent exhibition space in Menara MATRADE covering 4,500 square metres. MEEC has been specially designed for Malaysian exporters to showcase their products and services to both domestic and international visitors. Trade delegates and visitors have the opportunity to explore a wide selection of Malaysian products and services from over 400 companies in various sectors. Among products sectors on display are green technology, E&E, chemicals, automotive, rubber, plastics, pharmaceuticals and timber. EMPOWERING BRAND MALAYSIA In addition, services sectors include oil & gas, construction, healthcare and education. MATRADE also provides advisory services, current facilities and meeting rooms for Malaysian companies and importers to conduct discussions. MEEC received 4,250 visitors both locally and internationally throughout 2019. Various activities and programmes organised are outreach initiatives, business meetings and launches for products and services. MEEC established strategic collaboration with Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (MARDI) to promote products and services of companies under its purview.
