This includes good governance, accelerating innovation, boosting productivity, moving industries up the value chain, enhancing the wellbeing of the rakyat particularly the B40 and achieving inclusive growth. To achieve the government’s aim in shaping the country’s development and driving prosperity among the people, various initiatives have been outlined through six strategic thrusts which are: MATRADE supports the RMK-11 through export promotion and export development programmes. It also promotes the country’s capabilities by working and collaborating with partners across governments. Creating a national image of quality providers is one of MATRADE’s most important trade promotion initiatives to boost exports of services.
