MATRADE has advanced Malaysian entrepreneurs and businesses enabling the flow of knowledge, assistance and exposure to international markets while also helping improve product quality and services. This has directly contributed to the increased levels of Malaysian exports overseas. The availability of network resources and assistance from MATRADE is such a valuable boost to the Malaysian exporting community. Besides bringing value to the business community, the country also benefits through positive cash flows, a healthy exchange rate, increased income from taxation and worldwide recognition as a competitive and trusted trading nation globally. MATRADE’s multi-faceted roles and functions provides advisory assistance, market intelligence, platforms to promote exports and market expansion to its clients so that small businesses can grow into large businesses (from local to global). The spillover effects of this growth helps to promote employment, increases trade and stimulates the economy.
