This initiative highlights the agency’s commitment to leveraging big data analytics for informed decision-making. Additionally, MATRADE plays a vital role in fostering transparency and public data sharing by sharing a total of 66 datasets on the Malaysia Open Data Portal (data.gov.my). This endeavour aims to enhance the accessibility of valuable information and promote transparency in public services. UTILISATION OF BIG DATA ANALYTICS MATRADE maintains a steadfast commitment to ensuring the security of its information systems and ICT networks by closely monitoring their integrity, availability, and confidentiality. The agency conducts regular Security Posture Assessments (SPA) and implements security reinforcement measures based on priorities. Furthermore, to mitigate security threats, new application systems undergo rigorous penetration testing to minimise any potential risks. This proactive approach helps safeguard MATRADE’s information assets and maintain a secure environment for its operations. STRENGTHENING INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) SECURITY MATRADE has consistently achieved impressive ICT system availability of 99.83% and network availability of 99.84%, thanks to comprehensive and effective maintenance practices.
