104 TOWARDS THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE EXPORTS To enrich the knowledge and skills of MATRADE staff, a comprehensive series of 51 ICT training sessions were carried out. These sessions encompassed a wide range of competencies such as network management, ICT security, data analytics, and ICT equipment. Additionally, to ensure that staff remain up-to-date with the latest technological advancements, nine Technology Update sessions were conducted, allowing ICT service providers to share valuable insights. To foster a culture of ICT awareness and proficiency among MATRADE personnel, various activities were implemented. Two Town Hall sessions were conducted, shedding light on MATRADE’s digitalisation efforts. Three e-newsletters and six infographics were distributed via email, delivering concise and engaging content aimed at bolstering the digital literacy levels of staff members. These initiatives collectively contribute to enhancing the ICT capabilities and knowledge base within the MATRADE workforce. ENHANCEMENT AND CULTIVATION OF DIGITAL COMPETENCIES MATRADE has developed the Digitalisation Strategic Plan (DSP) 2022-2026 to serve as a guiding framework for the implementation of ICT initiatives. Developed in-house according to the guidelines provided by MAMPU, the DSP acts as a strategic driver for the agency’s digitalisation endeavours. The DSP is in alignment with the MATRADE Business Strategic Plan (BSP) 3.0, the National Trade Blueprint 2021-2025 (NTBp), the Public Sector Strategic Digitalisation Plan (PSPSA) 2021-2025, and the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint (MyDIGITAL). It encompasses various strategies, programmes, and implementation plans targeting digitalisation initiatives across application systems, data management, infrastructure, security, human resource development, and governance. This comprehensive plan ensures a well-coordinated and holistic approach to digital transformation within MATRADE. Five core strategies have been outlined, as follows: MATRADE STRATEGIC DIGITALISATION PLAN (PSP) 2022 – 2026 In 2022, a total of 99% of MATRADE personnel expressed outstanding customer satisfaction with the ICT services in the annual survey. MATRADE ICT SERVICE EVALUATION MATRADE takes pride in the exemplary performance of its two IT services, namely Export Promotion-related IT Activity Management and IT System Complaint Handling, as listed in the Support Procedures for MS ISO 9001:2015. These services have consistently achieved a remarkable track record of maintaining a zero Non-Compliance Report (0 NCR) for the past 15 consecutive years, starting from 2008. This achievement has greatly contributed to MATRADE’s ability to retain its MS ISO 9001:2015 certification, demonstrating the agency’s unwavering commitment to quality and continuous improvement in its IT operations. MS ISO 9001:2015 COMPLIANCE Under the sustainability agenda, MATRADE donated 90 used computers to six schools in 2022, introducing MATRADE to the education community.
