The event attracted over 40,000 professionals, including developers, project owners, operators, architects, interior designers, and engineers from across the industry. MATRADEcoordinated the participation of 15 Malaysian companies at the Jakarta Convention Centre. These companies showcased Malaysia’s cutting-edge technology and capabilities in construction services and building materials, such as engineering and construction services, project management, architectural consultancy, LED lighting, concrete machinery, and cleaning equipment. In addition to the exhibition, several seminars, industry discussions, product demonstrations, and business meetings were held, with Malaysian companies actively participating. As part of its ongoing efforts to promote Malaysian participation in Megabuild, MATRADE successfully identified potential opportunities and received favourable indications from Indonesian buyers. One significant initiative that could potentially benefit Malaysian companies is the capital relocation project to Kalimantan (Nusantara), representing a massive opportunity for growth.
