93 Management, Integrity, Internal Audit and Strategic Planning MATRADE Annual Report 2022 MATRADE successfully obtained the recertification of MS ISO 9001:2015 from SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd., following an audit session held on 25 and 26 July 2022. The latest MS ISO 9001:2015 certificate is effective from 17 August 2022, to 6 October 2025. This marks the second award of the MS ISO 9001:2015 certificate since 2019. All work processes involving core programmes and support activities were thoroughly assessed, with the results confirming MATRADE’s compliance with established ISO procedures. There were no findings of Opportunities for Improvement (OFI) or NonConformity Reports(NCR). The certification attests to MATRADE’s continued commitment to providing export development services at the highest level, in line with international legislations and practices. MATRADE will continue to strive for improvement in its Quality Management System, and when necessary, reevaluate its Quality Objectives to enhance the effectiveness of services that meet, and exceed, customer and stakeholder requirements. The Organisational Planning and Transformation Unit (UPOT), as the secretariat, organised four MATRADE Gathering Sessions in 2022. These sessions were conducted in a hybrid format, encompassing officers and staff from Headquarters, Regional Offices, and Overseas Offices. The gatherings provide a platform for the Chief Executive Officer to disseminate the latest information, highlight current developments, share the organisation’s direction, and showcase MATRADE’s achievements and directives with the entire MATRADE community. RECERTIFICATION OF MS ISO 9001:2015 MATRADE GATHERING SESSION This important event features a segment dedicated to acknowledging the outstanding performance of our staff. The awards include the Excellent Service Award (APC), MATRADE Employee Award (APM), Long Service Award, sports awards, and participation certificates. By recognising and appreciating outstanding performance and contributions, MATRADE aims to foster positive attitudes, uphold values, and cultivate a first-class work culture within its community.
