7 WOMEN EXPORTERS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (WEDP) A 3-year export support programme for women exporters aim to create competitive and sustainable exporters. The programme include skills enhancement training, leadership and entrepreneurial development, networking and mentoring sessions, customised business coaching, international business exposure and new market entry. Benefits: • Assistance in exploring the export market • Participation in 3 international trade promotion events a year where MATRADE covers the cost of flights, accommodation, participation fees / rental cost of exhibition booth. • Complimentary participation in the Malaysia Export Exhibition Centre (MEEC) for one year • Complimentary participation in Export Training Programme (seminars, workshops and training) organised by MATRADE CRITERIA i. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) 1 as defined by the National SME Development Council. ii. Locally incorporated Sdn Bhd under the Companies Act 2016. iii. At least 51% equity is owned by woman & holds management position as CEO / Managing Director. iv. At least 3 years in operation & have domestic market presence, and a designated business premises / manufacturing facility. v. Registered with MATRADE. vi. Exporting Malaysian made Products or Services.
