The details include: • Place and date of its execution • Place of departure and of destination • Name and address of the consignor • Name and address of the first carrier • Nature of the goods • Number of packages • Weight, quantity, volume, dimensions of the goods • Condition of the goods The document is issued by the freight forwarder to the importer for clearing of goods. Packing List A document describing the types and quantities of merchandise in a particular shipment. Issued by the exporter. Certificate of Origin (CO) A document certifying the place of manufacture or origin of goods specified and, is required whenever preferential duties are claimed.
