industry is beginning to gain attention
in the international market. The

in the fast moving consumer goods

natural progression to diversify
into the cosmetics and toiletries
segment. A growing number of
brands that are found today at chain
retailers, hypermarkets, hotels and
resorts are formulated and produced
under private label arrangements in
Malaysia. Foreseeing exponential
growth ahead, local manufacturers
are allocating more resources into
this niche, with many focusing on R &

centres and colleges.
