Certificate of Free Sales (CFS)

A Certificate of Free Sale is issued by MATRADE to facilitate Malaysian exporters in exporting local household products to countries which require such certificate. It assures the importing countries that the product issued has been sold freely in this country. The CFS issued by MATRADE is only for finished household products manufactured locally. It applied to household products that are not covered under the Ministry of Health (MOH) or any other government agencies in Malaysia. Further clarification about the CFS issued by MOH, please contact the respective agencies under the Ministry directly. To apply CFS, the company must register as a MATRADE member.

Trade Enquiries

MATRADE responds to trade related enquiries from foreign buyers, trade associations, chambers of commerce, foreign missions in Malaysia as well as business visitors to Malaysia. These trade enquiries are disseminated to Malaysian companies through Trade Leads.

International Sourcing Program (INSP)

MATRADE overseas offices have organised International Sourcing Programme (INSP). Individual business meetings with Malaysian businesses are arranged in conjunction with these buying missions.

Incoming Trade Delegations

MATRADE receives visits of foreign trade delegations. Apart from organising business briefings, MATRADE schedules individual business meeting between Malaysian exporters and members of foreign trade delegations who are interested to source from Malaysia.
