In 1979 MINTYE imported semi-finished materials for the production of automotive and industrial friction materials. Experience prompted us to begin production from raw materials in 1984, providing us with better quality control. Two years later, MINTYE became the market leader in Malaysia.

MINTYE products ranging from Brake Linings (blocks), brake linings in rolls, disc brake pad, disc pad backing plates, brake shoe cores and etc. are engineered with original genuine international specification standards and been tested under AMECA, USA. Today, MINTYE export to 60 countries worldwide including Australia, England, Japan, Taiwan and Middle Eastern countries.
