The Malaysian Mosaics story began in 1964 when Kowa Co. Ltd. of Japan and A. Clouet & Co. of France formed a joint venture to produce Malaysia’s first mosaic plant. The first mosaic seeds were produced three years later in 1967, and the company grew with its leader brand MML. Today, MML offers a full range of porcelain and ceramic tiles. In 2010, MML created a breakthrough green tile that is also the first in the country to be awarded the prestigious Green Label from the Singapore Environment Council. MML can be found in over 80 countries in major markets such as North America, Japan, Singapore, UK, Germany, Australia and the Middle East.

Malaysian Mosaics has three manufacturing plants in Malaysia to allow for large capacity manufacturing of their products. They have set the standards for others, being the first company in Malaysia to earn the ISO14001 certification. All MML tiles are tested and certified by international laboratories, exceeding international testing standards.Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Lexus, BMW, McDonald’s, KFC, Shangri-La and Hilton are but a few to have used MML in their building specifications. In the international arena, MML has been well-received for prestigious architectural projects like the City Centre Quatar, one of the world’s largest shopping malls, international transportation hubs like Canada’s Edmonton international Airport, and historic venues like the Sydney Olympics Stadium in Australia.MML has built a strong legacy over the past 50 years, leading to the company becoming a trusted source both locally and internationally for ceramic tile products.
