Malaysia Microelectronic Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (My-MS) is a fabless semiconductor company that develops and markets high performance semiconductor products. The company specialise in the design, development and marketing of Smartcard IC, Microcontroller IC, non-volatile memory (NVM) and custom IC devices. An ISO9001:2008 certified company; My-MS is located in the heart of the Multimedia Super Corridor in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
Driven by highly experienced engineering talents, the company successfully developed the 1Malaysia Smart chip, a highly secured flash-based microcontroller smart chip IC for Malaysian National Identification Card (MyKAD) and the first locally developed 0.18 micron smartcard chip with its own MyCOSp™ operating system. Their extensive offering includes Secured Memory IC, EEPROMS, Contactless Cards, as well as the provision of Custom IC Design and Failure Analysis Services.
With business partners in different regions, their customer base spans globally. Their World-Class manufacturing partners, which are located in Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, China and Malaysia, complete their semiconductor supply-chain in the areas of wafer fabrication, IC packaging, and assembly & test. In line with their current business strategies, the company has formed a new Software Development Division for the development of the first global NFC based Halal Certifications through Halal Square and Halal Inside applications in collaboration with JAKIM. They are currently in the development process of integrating the iBeacon and Big Data technologies into their current initiatives for retails and banking applications.
