Creating awareness of MATRADE’s services,
facilities and assistance programmes
amongst theMalaysian business community
is crucial in developing them into
prospective exporters. Bearing this inmind,
MATRADE continued to organise a series of
programmes for entrepreneurs aspiring to be
success exporters.Thewell-know Exporters
Forum targeting existing exporterswas also
sustained.
Apart from updating participants on
MATRADE’s new initiatives, facilities,
guidelines and promotion activities planned
for the year, the Exporters Forum also
comprised briefings and consultation
sessions it also acted as a channel to obtain
feedback from industry players on export-
related issues. Representatives fromMinistry
of International Trade& Industry (MITI) and
other government agencies aswell as trade
organisationswere invited as speakers at this
forum.
In 2014, nine Exporters Forumswere
conducted in Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Kedah,
Negeri Sembilan, Sarawak, Sabah, Pahang,
and Johor involving a total of 3,034
participants.
In addition,MATRADE utilised info booths
at the 60 local fairs it participated in.
Officersmanning these booths attended
to a cumulative 7,145 enquiries on
MATRADE’s programmes, registration as
members and incentives for exporters,
among others.

Kesedaran dikalangan komuniti perniagaan
Malaysiamengenai perkhidmatan,
kemudahan program dan bantuan
yang disediakan olehMATRADE adalah
penting dalam usahamembangunkan
merekamenjadi pengeksport bertaraf
dunia. Bermatlamatkan ini,MATRADE
telahmeneruskan penganjuran beberapa
siri program untuk usahawanMalaysia.
Penganjuran Forum Pengeksport yang
disasarkan kepada pengeksport sedia ada
dikekalkan.
Selain daripadamengemaskini peserta
mengenai inisiatif baru, kemudahan, garis
panduan eksport sertamaklumat aktiviti
promosi perdaganganMATRADE, forum
ini juga bertindak sebagai saluran untuk
mendapatkanmaklum balas daripada para
pengusaha tempatan berkaitan isu-isu
berkaitan eksport.Wakil-wakil dari MITI,
agensi-agensi kerajaan dan organisasi
perdagangan yang lain telah dijemput
sebagai penceramah panel di forum ini.
Pada tahun 2014, sembilan Forum
Pengeksport telah diadakan di Kuala Lumpur,
Perak, Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Sarawak,
Sabah, Pahang, Johor danmelibatkan
seramai 3,034 peserta.
Di samping itu,MATRADE juga telah
mengendalikan
info booth
di 60 acara
pameran tempatan. Sebanyak 7,145
pertanyaan yang antaranya berkisar tentang
cara berdaftar sebagai ahli MATRADE,
programMATRADE dan insentif kepada
pengeksport tempatan telah diterima oleh
MATRADE.
