In 2014,MATRADE had organised 25 training programmes for the
Malaysian business communitywhich took the form of seminars, briefings,
workshops and pocket talks.A total of 2,303 participants had attended
and benefited from these programmes.
Topics covered included skills enhancement,market and business
opportunities in United Kingdom,Mongolia, UnitedArab Emirates,
Uzbekistan andCoteD’Ivoire, specific industries such as franchising
business in halal industry, setting up European based halal business
development, USFDA registration requirements for exporting food and
beverages to United States, importance of GMP aswell as MS 1500 for
Halal Food.
MATRADE also collaboratedwith other organisations to enhance its
exporters development programmes.As a result, a traning programme
on financial serviceswas organisedwith EXIM bank. Complementing this
was an E-commerce Roadshowwith Panpages Online Sdn Bhd that was
focused on creatingmore awareness on the eTRADE programmes.The
roadshowwas a big success andwas attended by 2,187 participants.
Being the focal point of FreeTradeAgreements, MATRADE took the
initiative to organise an FTA@INTRADE 2014 counter during INTRADE
2104.This initiativewas aimed at creating awareness amongst visitors on
the benefits and opportunitiesmade available to theMalaysian business
community through the free trade agreements signed byMalaysia.
Pada tahun 2014,MATRADE telahmenganjurkan sebanyak 25
program latihan untuk komuniti perniagaanMalaysia dalam bentuk
seminar, taklimat, bengkel dan ceramah. Seramai 2,303 peserta telah
menghadiri dan telahmendapat manfaat daripada program-program
ini.
Topik-topik yang dibincangkan adalah seperti peningkatan kemahiran
pengeksport, pasaran eksport dan peluang perniagaan di United
Kingdom,Mongolia, EmiriahArab Bersatu, Uzbekistan danCote
D'Ivoire, industri-industri spesifik seperti perniagaan francais dalam
industri halal, penubuhan perniagaan halal mengikut keperluan
Eropah, kepentingan pendaftaran USFDA bagi mengeksport produk
makanan keAmerika Syarikat serta keperluanGMP danMS1500
untuk eksport makanan halal.
MATRADE juga bekerjasama dengan organisasi lain untuk
meningkatkan program pembangunan pengeksportnya. Satu program
latihan dalam perkhidmatan kewangan telah dianjurkan bersama EXIM
Bank, sementara itu, satu program kesedaran eTRADE, E-Commerce
Roadshow, telah dijalankan bersama Panpages Online Sdn Bhd.Acara
roadshow ini telahmenarik seramai 2,187 peserta.
Sebagai fokus Perjanjian Perdagangan Bebas,MATRADE telah
mengambil inisiatif untukmenganjurkan kaunter FTA@ INTRADE
2014 semasa penganjuran acara ini. Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk
mewujudkan kesedaran di kalangan pengunjungmengenai manfaat
dan peluang yang disediakan untuk komuniti perniagaanMalaysia
melalui perjanjian perdagangan bebas yang telah ditandatangani
Malaysia.
