

The Creative Content Association
Malaysia (CCAM) is an Entry Point Project
(EPP) which is being implemented under
the Economic Transformation Programme
(ETP) for the Communications, Content &
Infrastructure (CCI) sector. CCAM is an
association that represents the local
creative industry players and is aimed at
strategizing, promoting and exporting
local content and creative services to
overseas markets.
Mid and long terms business plan of
CCAM is to develop a clear and
comprehensive strategies and concrete
plans for the creative content industry of
Malaysia. Members of the CCAM can be
categorise into two classes which can be
classified as Ordinary and Associate
Members.
Ordinary Members is open to companies
or entities which are incorporated or
registered
under
the
Malaysian
Companies Act 1965 and they consist of
Broadcasters (Media Prima), top notch
content creators and distributors in
Malaysia as well as any other bodies
deemed relevant to the creative content
industry that have been approved by
CCAM’s higher level of authority
(Council).
Associate Members on the other hand is
open to companies or parties that are
interested in contents that are already
been developed by the communications
and multimedia industry.
Being a member of CCAM the members
will have access to regular professional
and latest market research information
pertaining to creative content i.e. latest
trends and potential markets, human
capital development such as training,
courses, seminars and workshops that are
of benefit to the industry players.
CCAM is under the supervisory panel of
the CCAM Council members with a Chief
Executive Officer being appointed as the
person who has ultimate management
responsibilities to implement the strategic
goals and objectives of CCAM.
