In line with MATRADE's aspiration to improve the quality of services to visitors, The Malaysian Export Exhibition Centre (MEEC) at MATRADE has been physically operating since 2 January 2007 with an area of ​​4,500 square meters. MEEC aims to showcase and promote various Malaysian products and services, involving more than 500 local companies. The exhibition covers 30 key industries that are very important in the Malaysian economy, including Green Technology, Electrical and Electronics, Chemicals, Automotive, Rubber, Plastics, Pharmaceuticals and Wood. Apart from these sectors, the service sector also participates with the involvement of industries such as Oil and Gas, Construction, Business Services, Healthcare and Education. With various industries on display, MEEC has become the main platform to introduce Malaysian innovation and expertise to the international market.

Starting on 1 March 2025, the Malaysian Export Exhibition Centre (MEEC) has taken a big step by introducing a fully VIRTUAL exhibition. This step aims to position MEEC as an exhibition centre that uses advanced, innovative, and interactive digital technology, in line with current technological developments.

This initiative aims to strengthen MATRADE's role as the country's export promotion agency that pioneers the digitalization agenda and directly improves the effectiveness of the services provided to Malaysian exporters as well as international buyers who are interested in obtaining products and services from Malaysia.

MEEC now allows companies to showcase their products and services virtually. This is an opportunity for Malaysian companies to take advantage of digital technology in expanding the market at the global level.
