Materials toNewOrleans, Louisianawas
organised in-conjunctionwithGreenbuild
International Conference and Expo 2014.The
trade event, launched in 2002, is the largest
conference and expo dedicated to green
building in the USA.
Themission involved 7 representatives from
5 companies dealingwith buildingmaterials.
Apart from participation inGreenbuild 2014,
themission’s programme included briefing
on US green building industry by USGreen
BuildingCouncil, networkingwithmajor
buyers and potential clients during the
show and pre-arranged businessmeetings
betweenMalaysian participants and buyers
& business visitors from the USA, Caribbean
and LatinAmerica.
Arising from67 businessmeetings arranged
at theMalaysia Pavilion aswell aswalk-in
visitors, total sales of RM46millionwere
generated. Products sourced included clay-
based bricks & façade claddingmaterial,
LED lighting, solar energywater heater,
dual-function heater and air conditioner,
solar panel for home appliances, insulation
materials from palm oil waste, composite
outdoor buildingmaterials and indoor &
outdoor wall cladding and façade.

NewOrleans, Louisiana telah dianjurkan
sempenaGreenbuild International Conference
& Expo 2014.Acara perdagangan ini,
yang bermula pada tahun 2002 adalah
persidangan dan expo terbesar khusus untuk
bangunan hijau, di Amerika Syarikat.
Misi ini dihadiri 7wakil dari 5 syarikat
bahan binaan. Selain daripada penyertaan
di pameranGreenbuild 2014, program
misi ini jugamelibatkan taklimat mengenai
industri bangunan hijau olehMajlis Bangunan
HijauAmerika Syarikat, sesi jalinan dengan
pembeli utama dan pelanggan yang
berpotensi semasa pameran serta pertemuan
perniagaan pra jadual yang diaturkan di
antara peserta delegasi dengan pembeli serta
pelawat perdagangan dari Amerika Syarikat,
Caribbean danAmerika Latin.
Hasil dari 67 pertemuan perniagaan yang
diatur di PavilionMalaysia serta pelawat
walk-in
, jualan sebanyak RM46 juta telah
dijana. Produk yang diperoleh termasuk
batu bata berasaskan tanah liat & bahan
pelapisan permukaan hadapan bangunan,
lampu LED, pemanas air tenaga suria,
pemanas dwi-fungsi dan penghawa dingin,
panel solar untuk peralatan rumah, bahan
penebat daripada sisa kelapa sawit, komposit
bahan binaan dinding luar dan dalaman serta
dinding pelapis luar dan
façade
.
