Trade Events

MSE 2011

One of the most effective trade promotional tools, the International Trade Exhibition and Conference, is now becoming a major business in Malaysia.

The country has sufficient international-standard facilities to host international exhibitions and conferences on a local level.

Exhibitions and conferences are growing in size and complexity. In order to promote the exhibitions and conferences industry in the country, the government mandated that all such trade events, both local and international in scope, be registered with MATRADE.

MIHAS
Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS), was launched in 2004 to facilitate the sourcing and selling of quality halal consumables, products and services globally.
  • MIHAS annual event is the largest gathering of halal industry players.
  • MIHAS attracts a following of loyal visitors and exhibitors ranging from pharmaceuticals, to Islamic investment, and banking.
  • MIHAS hosted over 500 buyers and matches them with participants of MIHAS from Malaysia.
  • MIHAS is the premier event and serves as the best entry point for the world market to penetrate into the global Muslim markets.
  • MIHAS was able to break through barriers to enter young developing markets committed to serving the needs of the halal consumer and to reach a quality-conscious generation seeking quality halal food products.

MIHAS is hosted by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), and organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE).
