entity having been established
in 1999, JF Technology Berhad
was incorporated with recogni-
tion of a pressing need in the
semiconductor industry.
Seeing thatmany local indus-
try players were depending solely on imported
products, JFTechnology tookona challenging task
of manufacturing and trading electronic products
and components ofworld-class essence to the local
andglobalmarket alike. Startingoutwithamaiden
product, the single pin cantilever test probe, JF
Technology slowly climbed the ladder and earned
its place in the semiconductor industry, nowhold-
ing a key role as the main supplier and specialist
indesigning andmanufacturing of test probes and
sockets to the worldwide industry.
Building Fantastic Technology
Startinga company just at the turnof themillennia
was probably not a wise decision in the books of
many, but JFTechnology charged aheadwithfirm
belief that if a needhas been recognised, therewill
surely be a way to provide for it.
The Y2K dilemma caused severe issues in the
semiconductor industry both nationwide and
globally.Therewas anoversupplyof products, anda
highmarket adjustment ratewas needed to ensure
the industrywas back to its normal pace.However,
taking advantage of this period, JF Technology
focused time and effort in the first two years to
establish and develop products teamed with
local automation houses, and grew the business
successfully to where it stands today.
