In 2014,MKP organised a total of 18major promotional events in
mainlandChina andHong Kong. Strategic collaborationwith 7-Eleven
and Parkson supermarkets to organise in-store promotions in the
main and second tier cities acrossmainlandChinawas continued.The
in-store promotionswith 7-Elevenwas expanded to cover 289 stores
of which 154 storeswere in Beijing, 55 stores inTianjin and 80 stores
inChengdu. In-store promotions at Malaysian-owned Parksonwere
held in their stores in Beijing, Qingdao, Shanghai and Kunming.
To enhancemarket reach, in-store promotions and joint promotion
eventswere also conducted at othermajor local retailers such as
LianHua Supermarkets andCP Lotus in Shanghai,TongYue Stores
inGuangzhou and Shenzhen andWellcome Stores inHong Kong.
MKP also organisedMalaysian food and cultural promotions targeting
institutional buyers, retailers,media, food bloggers and the general
consumers inChina.They included joint programmeswithHotel Jen
and Royal Park Hotel inHong Kong, Kerry Hotel in Beijing andGuoman
Hotel in Shanghai.
An online promotion forMalaysian foodwas also organisedwith
Taobao.com’s FoodChannel which had successfuly generated actual
sales of RMB1.5million during the 8-day promotion.

Pada tahun 2014,MKPmenganjurkan sebanyak 18 acara
promosi utama di tanah besar China danHong Kong. Selain itu,
kerjasama strategik bersama 7-Eleven dan pasaraya Parkson
untukmenganjurkan promosi dalam kedai di bandar-bandar utama
dan bandar peringkat kedua di seluruh tanah besar China juga
telah diteruskan. Promosi di dalam kedai bersama 7-Eleven telah
diperluaskan ke 289 kedai di mana 154 promosi bertempat di Beijing,
