RM1.12 billion and machinery, appliances & parts,
RM1.04 billion.
Trade with Africa in 2013 was RM26.4 billion or 1.9%
share of Malaysia’s total trade. Exports valued at
Imports from Africa contracted by 17.6% mainly due
to decrease in imports of crude petroleum by 58.6%
to RM1.34 billion and processed food by 56.7% to
RM73.68 million. Main import sources in the region
were South Africa with 30.2% share or RM2.68 billion,
Cote d’Ivoire 12.1% share or RM1.07 billion and
Nigeria 10.8% share or RM954 million.

(RM4.07 billion), Brazil (RM3.83 billion), Argentina
(RM738.93 million), Chile (RM515.97 million),
Peru (RM370.3 million) and Panama (RM365 million).
Main import items were E & E products (RM6.2 billion),
crude petroleum (RM3.1 billion), cereal (RM2.3 billion),
and processed food (RM2.2 billion).
